Mark V. Vandenberg, 64, of Little Chute, passed away peacefully with his loving daughter at his side on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was born December 7, 1951, son of the late Aloys "Bud" and Lucille (Van Gompel) Vandenberg.
He shared his love for music singing for many years with the Fox Valleyaires Barbershop Chorus and was musically inclined. He enjoyed playing guitar, banjo, and piano, entertaining others, working in agriculture, travelling, attending the EAA and car shows. Mark was a member of the Allouez Assembly 4th Degree Honor Guard and past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 10919.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Danielle Vandenberg, siblings: Joan (Al) Hangartner, Dennis (Sheryl) Vandenberg and Karl (Mary) Vandenberg, along with his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and cousin Jim Mischler who was one of Mark’s best friends and many other friends.
Family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
