He was born on September 21, 1935, in Freedom, son of the late Mervin and Myrtle (Moser) Weyenberg. He loved playing cards, teaching all of his grandkids how to play cribbage. He even had two perfect hands dealt to him by his son-in-law Randy. Jim greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son Scott, his brothers Roy and Tom and their sons.  He also liked horseshoes, gardening and spending time at their cottage in Mountain.  Most of all, he cherished time with his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings. Jim’s giving spirit along with his witty sense of humor, will be truly missed.  He was the bedrock of the family and a role model for many.  He was genuinely concerned for others, always providing help and support.
