Cliff W. Hall, age 89, passed away April 16, 2016, at his residence in New Holstein WI. He was born January 6, 1927, son of the late Cliff and Anna (Wolfe) Hall in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
He later lived in Colorado until he went to serve his country in WWII, in the United States Navy from 1944 – 1946. Upon discharge he moved to Wisconsin and attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. On May 14, 1949, he married Gloria A. Barkle of Iron Mountain, Michigan. They resided in Menominee Falls, WI. Cliff was a member of Lodge #183 F & AM. In 1976 they moved to Oconto Falls, WI. Cliff was very active in the community and served as Alderman for three years He was a member of the Oconto Falls Lodge #293 F & AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Green Bay, Beja Shrine Temple, Green Bah, VFW post 8314, Gillette, WI, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. In 2000 they settled in New Holstein, WI and were members of St. Johns UCC.
Preceding his death was his granddaughter Julie (Hall) Vorachek. Survivors include his loving wife Gloria, one son Cliff J. (Victoria) Hall, and one daughter Trudy C. (Scott) Wink. five grandchildren, Cliff M. (Susie) Hall, John T. (Ali) Hall, Jonathan A. Fox, Anna E. Wink, and three great grandchildren, Sumerlyn P Vorachek, Claire M. Hall, Drake E. Hall.
Cliff will be buried in Spooner, WI at the Veterans Cemetery. No services per his request.
