I got to know Carol through Callie while she was volunteering at St. Paul. Callie was a delightful and kind person, and I knew she must have wonderful parents for her to be that comfortable and sweet working in that atmosphere. I did get to meet Carol later on, and my suspicions were confirmed. She was just as wonderful as Callie...always with a smile on her face and a kind word. My sympathies are with the entire family. You all have had a wife/mother/role model you can be so proud of.

Sorry to hear about Carol's passing, but she will live forever in your heart and your children's hearts. A wonderful thing that I would suggest is that your kids (and you too) should write down whatever memories you can think of, so your children can read all about Carol when they are older. My mom passed away 30 years ago today and I still miss her!

To Todd and the amazing Berg family, You guys are my 2nd family, My home people in Wisconsin. My heart goes out to Todd the kids, and all who knew Carol, What a great heart and lovely funny, decent, honest respectful charitable person, I have known many in the Berg family for almost 28 years. I will miss Carol tremendously. Sorry I could not get out for the funeral - but I will be coming soon to see all and share the great stories of and that was Carol, and her fantastic legacy of who she touched. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Carol. I went to high school with her. She always had a smile on her face and would brighten up any room she walked into. She was such a kind and caring person. May your memories give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Just a note to say that I am praying God wraps his arms around all of you and fills you all with peace! Carol was an inspiration to me in so many ways, her kindness, generosity, selflessness, and always smiling face will be remembered by many! What a blessing this woman was... I met her at church and then found myself seeing her while visiting my Father. God Bless and Keep you all. Find comfort in her memories and comfort in those who loved her

I was lucky enough to experience Carol's beautiful smile by default. I was driving to drop my daughter off at Irish Waters to work and drove slowly past Carol being pushed in her wheelchair taking a walk . As I past her we looked at each other and she smiled a HUGE beautiful smile that I will never forget. We were strangers but even at the end of her journey she was full of life .
