Marvin R. Heindl

Marvin “Butch” Heindl, age 72, of Kaukauna, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015. Marv was born on November 26, 1942, son of the late Ray and Margaret Heindl. He married Kathy Scott on July 29, 1967. Marv graduated from Freedom High School in 1962. He was a proud Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. Marv retired after 27 years from Hobart Corp. His favorite hobbies were camping, fishing and woodworking.

Marv is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy; daughters: Lori (Dale) Maki, Lisa (Ron) Neitzel and Julie (Scott Defferding) Heindl; grandchildren: Ryan and Rachel Maki, Kaley Neitzel, Logan Heindl, Cassidy and Hayden Defferding; brothers: Ron (Bonnie), Dick (Mary Ellen), Dave (Margie), Bill (Bonnie) and Mike (Nancy); sisters: Mary Lou Hass, Joan Heindl and Donna (Dan) Weyenberg; Kathy’s family: Pat (Bob) Heckel, Eileen (Dick) Steingraber and Alan (Julie) Scott.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
