Wayne Adam Olson

Wayne Adam Olson, 48, passed away on Tuesday, November 17 2020 at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.  Wayne was born on February 23, 1972 in Appleton to Gerald Olson and Ava Abendroth.  On September 29, 2001 he was united in marriage to Pam Hanneman.  Wayne worked at Wolf River Asphalt Company.  He collected guns and enjoyed shooting and reloading.  He loved the outdoors and spending time up north or in St Pete Beach, FL.  Wayne was a hard working man and was always there for family and friends.  He had a special place for “his girl” Rylee, his labradoodle. 

Wayne is survived by his wife Pam, children; Shawn (Xavier) Martinez, Tanner Rau, Taylor Olson, Alexa Olson, two grandchildren; Kaycen and Bosten Martinez, his mom Ava Abendroth, his step mom Diane  Olson, three brothers; Jamie (special friend Kimberly) Lukas (Kari) Noskowiak, Jacob Noskowiak, his “girl” Rylee, aunts, uncles, Godchildren and other relatives and friends.  Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Gerald,  and his grandparents.

The funeral service for Wayne will be held on Saturday, November, 28, at 3:00 PM at the Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home in Little Chute.   A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. We ask that the first 15 minutes or so be reserved for people who are at higher risk for getting Covid but still wish to pay their respects.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.verkuilenfh.com.  The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Theda Care Hospice, Theda Care Cancer Center and all those who have helped Wayne and the family during this difficult journey.
