Wanda J. Wakeley

Wanda Wakeley, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully at the age of 69. She went to be with God surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Mark Wakeley; her children: Annette Hinterthuer, Marie (Zack) Vandenwyngaard, Melissa Wakeley, Michael Wakeley, and Matthew Wakeley; her 11 grandchildren; and her brother, Charles (Karen) Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Shirley Wheeler and Charles Walker Sr.; her sister, Sharlene Shaif; along with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Wanda took care of her youngest granddaughter and loved doing that. She loved Avon, home interiors, and Tupperware as a seller of all of them. Wanda was a great, loving, and fun person. She was the life of the party. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She will be forever in our hearts.

A memorial service for Wanda will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna.
