Walter William “Junior” Seiltz, Jr., 81, Appleton, after a life of child-like faith, went to be with Jesus forever on Friday, April 30, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Elmhurst, IL on July 15, 1939, a son of the late Walter, Sr. and Elsie (Prueter) Seiltz. Junior enjoyed growing up and living on a farm in rural Menasha with his mom and dad. He attended the Andrew Jackson School in Woodville. Junior worked at the New Hope Center after moving to Appleton and was employed at Valley Packaging for many years until his retirement.

Junior was a devoted and lifelong member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church-Woodville. He was also an adopted member of Faith Lutheran Church in Appleton where he had many friends. First on his list of things to do was to attend church and he would listen on the radio when he was unable to attend.

Junior had an uncanny knowledge and love for old cars. Among his greatest pleasures were bowling and traveling. He enjoyed participating in SOAR and WISIBS activities and was always ready for a dance or to tell a joke!

We his family, will deeply miss his sense of humor, the mischievous twinkle in his eyes and his sharp memory.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon (Jerry) Vanden Heuvel and his brother Kerry (Carol) Seiltz. Junior also leaves his nieces and nephews: Jim (Tamara) Vanden Heuvel, Joy (Matthew) Lockery, Mark (Katie) Seiltz, Kelly (Joshua) Litersky and Gregg (Mary Jo) Seiltz; his great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Gay Ida Seiltz.

Private family services will take place at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church-Woodville. You may view the services on the church’s website, www.StJohnKaukauna.com beginning at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
