Vincent Denzel

Vincent Denzel, 83, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021.  Vince was born on June 14, 1938 to Anton and Mathilda (Breit) Denzel.  On April 5, 1961 he was united in marriage to Joyce Vanderloop, together they celebrated their 60 year anniversary.  Vince lived a simple life. He was a hard working man and used his skills as a carpenter to build his own house.  He worked at Thilmany for over 40 years until his retirement.  Vince enjoyed going to Door County, reading books, doing puzzles and cleaning hickory nuts. 

Vince is survived by his wife Joyce, children; Mike (Jean) Denzel, Joan (Jim) Boots, Lori Denzel, Vicki Denzel, K Denzel, and Mary (Mike) Ronsman, grandchildren; Coleen (Dan, special friend) Denzel, Beth (Jon, Fiancé) Denzel, Matthew (Sarah) Boots, Eric (Katelin) Boots, Kevin (Alona) Boots, Kimberly Boots, Randy (Emily, special friend) Vanden Bloomer, Ricky (Jessica) Vanden Bloomer, Ryan Paessler, Sarah Ronsman, Johnathan Ronsman, great grandchildren; Brianna Boots, Lydia Boots, Lily and Hunter Vanden Bloomer, Brianna Leon, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Dennis (Char) Vanderloop, Jim (Marge) Vanderloop, Sandy Vanderloop, Marion Vanderloop, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Vince was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Ronald (Mary) Denzel, Eugene (Carolynn) Denzel, a sister Severa, a grandchild Steven Vanden Bloomer, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norbert and Helen (Klister Vanderloop) Lamers and second father-in-law Lyle Lamers, brothers-in-law Anton Vanderloop, Norman Vanderloop and Donald Vanderloop.

The funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 433 County Rd CE.  A time of visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the mass at church.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.verkuilenfh.com.  In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.  The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Randy Vanden Bloomer.
