Thomas Joseph Locy passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 85 in Appleton, WI. Tom was born August 18, 1938, son of the late Henry and Geraldine Locy of Little Chute.
Tom will be remembered as a great listener, both professionally as a psychotherapist and personally, always lending an ear to his friends and family.
Tom was passionate about the outdoors. He loved pheasant hunting, fishing, bird watching, and wintering in Arizona where he was an avid shuffle board and card player. He also enjoyed dancing, playing the guitar and his work with the Lions Club.
Tom suffered a major stroke in 2016 and was lovingly rehabilitated and cared for by his wife, Deb.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Deborah (Hill); three children: Gretchen (Tom Kaczmarski) Locy, Kent (Karin) Locy, and Nicole (Saul) Phillips; stepson, Brandon Fobes; seven grandchildren; brother, James Locy and two sisters: Alice Weyers and Mary Gloudemans. Tom was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Tom will be honored with a celebration of life at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute, on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass at 11:00 a.m.
