Theresa M. “Terri” Renkens, age 73, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, with family by her side. She was born August 8, 1952, in Kaukauna, WI. The daughter of Wesley Nicholas and Joan (Van Gompel) Newhouse.

Terri grew up in Kaukauna, Appleton and Freedom, graduating from Freedom High School with the class of 1971. She worked at Jack’s Pizza (Nestles) for many years before turning towards the medical field and working as a CNA at Oakridge Gardens. Throughout her life she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, putzing with her flowers and watching her favorite TV shows.

Terri is survived by her two sons, Josh (Amy) Renkens and Jason “Jay” Renkens, and two grandsons, Wells and Gage Renkens. Four brothers, Jeff (Karen) Newhouse, Doug (Jenny) Newhouse, Dan (Margi) Newhouse and Tim (Claudia) Newhouse. Three sisters, Sandy (Newhouse) Verbeten, Karen (Newhouse) (fiancée, Gary Natrop) DeGroot, and Julie (Newhouse) (Bruce) Dudek. Two Godchildren; Corey Van Kauwenberg and Carly Newhouse. Several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a very special nephew Steven Newhouse.

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains in our memories. Our big sister, now guardian angel! We love you Tay Tay!

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
