It is with great sadness that the family of Theodore “Ted/TP” Pontow Jr. announce his passing. He left us peacefully at his home with family present to be in a better place with his Lord on February 4, 2021.

Ted was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and always put family first. They were the most important thing to him and he loved them very much.
He loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing with family and friends. Additionally, he enjoyed gardening. Most of all, his favorite thing was the time he and Sylvia spent at their cottage on the lake up north.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 50 years, retired from Wisconsin Natural Gas in 2001 after 33 faithful years and loved watching his beloved Chicago Bears.
Ted is survived by his wife Sylvia, children Kirk (Arlene) Pontow, Jolie (John) Bourassa, grandchildren Cassandra and John “JJ” Bourassa Jr and great grandson (his little buddy) Easton Bornemann who had a special place in his heart. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put his arms around you, and whispered, “Come with me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Ted’s wishes were for a private family service which will be held at a later date.
The family extends a thank you to Ascension at Home, especially, those who provided care/comfort for him at home.
