Susan "Sue" J. Duda

Kaukauna – Sue J. Duda, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 16, 2021. She was born on December 16, 1959, daughter of the late Clifford and Ruth (Wyngaard) Huss. She married Larry Duda at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna on February 27, 1982.

Sue worked at the City of Kaukauna as the City Clerk and Treasurer for 30 years. She loved her job but was also very happily retired as of the last three years. She kept herself busy with volunteering for various positions including treasurer of the Outagamie County Tavern League, a member of the Board of Directors for Unison Credit Union and for years helped with the St. Mary’s Bingo night. Sue loved people and was very social. She enjoyed her darts night with the ladies and spending time with her friends and family. Sue was most proud of her five children. She loved each one in a special way and they will miss her dearly.

Sue is survived by her husband of 39 years, Larry Duda; children: Jimmy, Tommy, Clifford, Stephanie (special friend Kevin and his daughter Harper) and Barb; siblings: Mary, Betty, Nancy, Linda, Karen, Amy Sue, Paul (Linda) and Wayne (Chris); brother-in-law, Andy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ruth; and her sisters, Donna and Jane.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 12:00 noon. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
