Sharon “Sherry” M. Randerson, age 84, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Country Villa in Freedom surrounded by her family. She was born in Appleton on May 22, 1940 to the late Charles and Leona (Neitzke) Bodmer.
Sherry worked as the Food Service Director within the Freedom School District for over 30 years. In her retirement she volunteered at the Freedom Elementary School and Freedom Food Pantry. Sherry’s first priority was always her family and she loved them dearly. She especially enjoyed going to the family cottage in Crivitz for holiday get togethers. She loved sitting at the campfire talking with family. Grandma Sherry would be so excited when her pal Diesel came and she would hide dog treats for him. Sherry enjoyed eating out and having her favorite drink, an old fashioned.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Ron Randerson; children: Mark, Pat (Vicky), Paul (Kelly); grandchildren: Justin, Ben, Emily, Hayley (fiancé Ricky Lukas), Craig (Fiancée Chantal Wike), Paige (Jacob) Naze, CJ; great grandchildren: Carson and Chase Lukas; brother, Charles (Andrea) Bodmer; and sister-in-law, Joann Bowers. She was further preceded in death by her son, Jeff; infant daughter, Tina; brother, Rodney Bodmer; brother-in-law, Vern Bowers; and father and mother-in-law, Patrick and Marjorie Randerson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Rd S, Freedom, WI. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 am until the time of mass. Burial will immediately follow mass at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
