Scott "Scooter" Wydeven Obituary

Scott “Scooter” Lee Wydeven, 56, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born on June 6, 1967 to Gerald and Elaine (Heckner) Wydeven.

Scooter graduated from Kimberly High School Class of 1986 and went on to work at Valley Packaging. He was also a long-time member of St. Paul’s Catholic Parish in Combined Locks. Scooter loved life and always had a smile on his face. One of Scooter’s biggest enjoyments in life was country music, especially The Oak Ridge Boys. He was an avid Packers fan and loved to travel and go camping.

Scooter is survived by his mother, Elaine Wydeven; siblings: David Wydeven, Mark (Sandy) Wydeven, and Lynn (Jack) Bower; and nieces and nephews: Jenna, Clara, Carl, and Van. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald “Square” Wydeven as well as his grandparents: Rich and Grace Wydeven and George and Evelyn Heckner.

A Funeral Mass for Scooter will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 410 Wallace Street, Combined Locks. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.

Scooter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Scooter’s honor.
