Sandra J. Hazelwood

Sandra J. Hazelwood, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. She was born on May 22, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI.

Sandra was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was known for her caring nature and a love for the simple joys in life whether it was enjoying a nice cup of coffee, connecting with others playing online games or taking camping trips at High Cliff. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. Sandra even assisted her daughter with preparing wedding flowers for her flower business. She was an avid animal lover having raised many different pets throughout her life. Above all, Sandra loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them making memories that will live on in their hearts forever.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Jon; children: William (Jessica), Chary (Dustin), Christopher (Jennifer), and Chas (Sheena); grandchildren: Katie, Brandon, Billy, Coltin, Trentin, Lillian, Trai (Autumn), Britiny (Hunter), Aerriel (Soloman) Seefeldt, Alexandra (Brandon), Brock, Claire, Blake, Jordan, Noah, Natalie (Owen), Allisyn, Devon, Chasity, Liam, and Millie; great grandchild, Tikanni; siblings: Mary Schupp, Daniel (Debbie) Deja, Brian Deja (Rebecca), Roger Deja; sister-in-law, Arlene Deja; father-in-law, David Trosclair; and special friends: Ann Van De Voort and Mark Ma Cher. She is further survived by many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Helen Deja; brother, Leonard “Butch” Deja; sister, Linda Scheffler; mother-in-law, Nellie Boullion; and her grandson, Baby Boy Holsten. Sandra was further preceded in death by numerous extended family members and close friends.

A Celebration of Life for Sandra will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna.
