Sandra A. Engman

Sandra A. Engman, age 86, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on September 7, 2022. She was born on August 5, 1936, daughter of the late Carl and Doris (Miller) Schuler.

For most of her working life, Sandy was employed with the Kaukauna Area School District as a secretary for the high school's English Department.  She adored the students and was respected by them.  Outside of work, she frequently enjoyed reading, completing puzzles, and playing Scrabble.  She rooted for the Wisconsin Badgers, Chicago White Sox, and her high school alma mater's Kaukauna Ghosts.  Sandy connected with so many others; it was common for her to run into someone she knew in the community and to visit with them.  She was a part of a large and tight-knit group of friends who got together for various important life-events, vacations, and lunches. She loved her family and recognized it was one of the many blessings she had been given.  Sandy will likely be remembered most for her playful sense of humor which she was able to retain until the end of her life.

Sandra is survived by her children: Jan Noonan, Jay (Lori) Noonan, Jim (Marie) Engman, Reneé (Matt Lindborg) Engman, Paul (Betsy) Engman, Mark (Michelle) Engman and Rachel (Greg) Phillips; grandchildren: Zach (Kayla) Trepanier, Olivia, Collin and Alex Engman, Ethan Lindborg, Claire, Dane and Tim Engman, Emily, Elizabeth and Eric Engman, Cassie and Aaron Phillips and Rachel LaCasse; great grandchildren: Nora and Owen Trepanier and Isadora LaCasse; sister-in-law, Darlene Engman.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husbands: John Noonan and Ronald Engman; her parents, Carl and Doris Schuler; and a grandson, Evan Lindborg.

Funeral services for Sandra will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Don Everts officiating.
