Russell J. Brittnacher

Russell J. Brittnacher, age 66, passed away at his home on February 26, 2024. He was born on March 18, 1957.

Russ married Donna Van Asten and they raised their six children in Greenleaf, WI. Russ had a deep love and connection with nature and spent his free time gardening and wood carving. He also loved to read, play guitar and shared his passions and knowledge with his family and friends.

Russ is survived by his children: Jim (Pam) Brittnacher, Jesse Brittnacher, Joe (Amanda) Brittnacher, Melissa (Ben) Kiley, Michelle Brittnacher and John Brittnacher; grandchildren: Camden, Ayla, Declan, Maiya, Malachi, and Jake; siblings: Steve (Diane) Brittnacher, Gloria Brittnacher, Joy Brittnacher, Jane (Joe) Feldkamp, Bill (Kris) Brittnacher; siblings in law: Barb Van Asten, Bonnie Hopfensperger, Lee Van Asten, Debbie Hartjes, and Al (Peg) Van Asten.

Russ was preceded in death by his wife Donna, parents; Cliff and Teresa Brittnacher; father and mother-in-law, Cyrus and Jeannie Van Asten; brothers David and Tom Brittnacher, sister-in-law Vickie Fredrick; brothers-in-law: Greg Hopfenspereger, Steve Hartjes and Keith Van Asten.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute.
