Roy F. DeMunck

Roy F. DeMunck, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, at the Landings in Kaukauna. He was born on September 2, 1943, son of Peter and Florence (Vandenberg) DeMunck. Roy lived in the same house on First Street in Kimberly for 80 years before moving to The Landings.

Roy sure did love sports. He enjoyed watching the successes of Kimberly football, basketball and baseball. He loved NASCAR and was able to attend races in Bristol, TN and Daytona, FL, also attending WIR weekly. Roy also went to many Packer, Brewer, Timber Rattler, Gambler and Bullfrog games.

Roy dedicated over 30 years to Schmidt Oil in the car wash and oil plant, walking to work every day until his retirement in 2006. After retiring, he enjoyed sitting in his garage, listening to WNAM on the radio, and keeping his yard perfectly manicured.  

Roy will be missed by his sister, Donna Schevers; nieces: Kelly Johnson and Kathryn (Todd) Marks; nephews: Anthony Schevers and Peter DeMunck; good friends, Rick Verhagen and John Demerath; special cousin, Dottie Hill; and numerous other cousins, family members and friends.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Florence DeMunck; a loving brother, Bill (Mary Lou) DeMunck; and a brother-in-law, Richard Schevers.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home Little Chute Location, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Roy will be buried by his parents at Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.

The DeMunck family would like to extend a special thank you to Dave, Bob, Ted and Mark for being Roy’s chauffer to all of his events, and for the respect and love you always showed him over the years. Also thank you to the staffs of The Landings and St. Croix Hospice for your gentle love and care given to Roy during his final days.
