Robert “Bob” Lust, 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Bob was born in his Appleton home on November 15, 1935, to Carlton and Louise (Wolf) Lust. He was united in marriage to Margaret Ludvigsen on April 26, 1958. Bob was well known for his incredible sense of humor, his compassion for friends, and his absolute love of his family. Quality time with friends was spent camping and hunting. He was known to instigate a "few" pranks. A day in the life of Bob involved coffee from McDonalds, watching the Eagles at Riverside Park, breakfast with other Kimberly-Clark retirees, chatting with strangers who became immediate friends, and giving advice to train conductors, construction workers, and farmers. You could often find Bob in his garage tinkering on his next woodworking project. Most of all, he enjoyed creating cherished family memories.
Bob is survived by his daughters Lori (Spyro) Gialessas, Trudy (Randy) Vollmer, Stacey (Chad) Brothers, Marni (Brian) Sanderfoot; grandchildren Nick, Maggie, and Rob Gialessas, Colby and Casey Brothers, Brant, Margo, Marin, and Marli Sanderfoot, Coy (Jill), Cas (Devon), and Cal (Emily) Smith; great grandchildren Paek, Josie, Maddie, JC, Josh, Cadence, Caleigh, Kaila, Nathan, Julie and Owen; and a great great grandson Kieran; son-in-law Darrel Smith, his siblings Gretchen Grape and Ken (Susan) Lust; sister-in-law Susan Lust; nieces, nephews, other relatives and so many friends. Bob was preceded in eternal life by his wife Margaret, his daughter Michelle Smith and siblings Selma Fulcer, Bud Lust, Gladys Krause, and Jim Lust.
