Robert Chalupa

Robert J. Chalupa, age 65, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on February 25, 1959 in Kaukauna to the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Dolan) Chalupa. He married Darlene Holeman on April 27, 1991.

After graduating from Kimberly High School in 1977, Bob enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. During his service, he was stationed in Japan and California. He resided in California until his return to Wisconsin in 1998. Bob worked for Roger Bowers and Sons for 24 years, until his retirement in 2022.

Bob is survived by his wife, Darlene Chalupa; children: Crystal (Corey) Turley, Billy (Jessica) Goodwin; grandchildren: Seth and Eli Turley, Piper and Logan Goodwin; siblings: Chuck Chalupa, Debra (William) Verhagen, Denise Karczewski, Sally (Ron) Feistel, Cheri (Jeff) Van Zeeland; and brothers and sisters-in-law: David Holeman, Linda Rider, Dennis Holeman, Charlene Meras. He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law: James and Ronald Holeman.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. A celebration of life will continue after the visitation at Down The Hill, 221 Mill Street, Little Chute.
