Richard R. Arts

Richard Robert Arts, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends due to kidney failure on Friday, September 12, 2025. He was born on March 4, 1951, son of the late Melvin and Magdalen (Hendricks) Arts.

Richard loved working with his hands; he enjoyed wood working, remodeling projects, and even built his own home for his wife and family. Richard loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers, but his greatest love in his life were his grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his wife, Kim (Kappell) Arts; son, Casey (Ashley Schroth) Arts and their children: Luvyanna Arts and Kee Arts; daughter, Leah Arts; brother, James (Irene) Arts; sister, Diana (Dean) Lamers; brother, Gene Arts; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for Richard will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  with a celebration of life to follow at Bachelor’s, his second pride and joy, 1316 Crooks Ave., Kaukauna. In lieu of flowers, there will be a scholarship established in Dick's name at Kaukauna High School.
