Peggy R. Veldman

Peggy R. Veldman, 77, of Kaukauna, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 26, 2024, with her family at her side. She was born February 15, 1947, daughter of the late Lawrence and Marian DuFrane.

Peggy was a crossing guard in Kaukauna for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, gambling and playing cards with her family. Countless great memories were made through the years at the Enchanted Forest Campground.

Peggy is survived by her children: Tina (Paul) Evers, Kevin (Laurie) Veldman and Jim (Kristy) Veldman; grandchildren: Corey (Amber) Evers, Jeremy (Maria) Evers, Ryan (Tessa) Veldman, Maddy (Zach) Ziegelbauer, Emma Veldman and Tyler Veldman; great grandchildren: Henry Evers, Evelyn Evers and Hudson Ziegelbauer; siblings: Lynn (Jim) Schommer, Don (Ruth) DuFrane, Pam (Tom) Peters, Kim (Randy) Cramer, and Scott (Jessie) DuFrane; in-laws: Steve (Delores) Veldman, Barb (Dave) Drewa and Linda Veldman, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Howard Veldman Jr.; parents, Lawrence and Marian DuFrane; father and mother-in-law,  Howard Sr. and Ruth Ann Veldman; brother-in-law, Dennis (Pam) Veldman.

A Memorial service for Peggy will be held on Friday May 31, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.  at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
