Pearl "Pearlie Mae" Cleveland, 87, of Kaukauna, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 27, 2022, of natural causes. Pearl was born on June 2nd, 1934, to late Edward and Lena (Hommerding) Ingalls in Aniwa, WI. She was Baptize at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Polar, WI. After graduating from Antigo High School in 1952, she married and started her family.
Pearl worked as a waitress at Dixie Lunch in Antigo WI. She spent many years working “At The Car Wash” in Waukegan IL as a Bookkeeper. When they traveled for Al’s work she would work as a Cashier & Crafting her crafts to sell. When they moved back to IL, she had her own Housecleaning Services, along with many garage sales.
She enjoyed time with her bird and dogs, crafting, garage selling, gardening, reading the newspapers, traveling with their motorhome, sewing, socializing at any nearby bar, the love of decorating for all holidays, big, sweet tooth for sweets & Culver’s Vanilla Custard Ice Cream.
She is survived by: her bird Tweety; her children Harvey Dahlke, Edward (Rhonda) Dahlke, Perry Dahlke, Cindi Shea, Barbara Magnuson, Sharie Halverson; grandchildren, Kevin Selmo, Jennifer Doering, Lindsey Shea, Ashley Shea, Tyler (Kelly) Dahlke, Myranda (Keith) Dahlke Robinson, Nicole (Clay) Schaefer, Jaide (Mikey) Janota, Carli (Nick) Mojonnier, Devin (Kelsey) Magnuson, Trevor (Charity) Magnuson; 13 great grandchildren; one sister June Groeshel.
Waiting for Pearl in Heaven: her husband Alfred Cleveland, parents Edward and Lena Ingalls, sister Violet (Edward) Smitmajer, brother Tom (Mary) Ingalls, brother in-law Herbert Groeshel, daughter Kathy Dahlke, son in-law Richard (Richie) Magnuson, good friend Glady’s Hintz. Waiting at the Rainbow Bridge will be her dogs SonnyMae, Heidi, Ashley, and Rosie.
The gravesite services will be held on Thursday June 23rd, 2022, at 11:30AM at Elmwood Cemetery Antigo WI officiated by her son Edward Dahlke.
