Patrick "Jake" Jacobson

Patrick Jacobson passed away on January 21, 2023 at home surrounded by family.  Pat “Jake” was born on March 27, 1952 to Bob and Ellen (Chadek) Jacobson.  On August 4, 1973 he was united in marriage to Connie Jeske.  After high school he started work at Menasha Corp, where he retired from after many years working on the Jumbo and getting the nickname Jumbo Jake.  He had many hobbies including bee keeping, and making maple syrup. Family was the most important thing to Pat and they spent many times together making many memories that will always be cherished.

He is survived by his loving wife Connie, 3 children; Tera and (Jim) Burdick, Eric and (Kara) Jacobson, and Michelle and (Ryan) Young, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren his loyal dog Bear, his 5 brothers; Tim (Cheryl), Dean (Karen), Gary, Jon and David,2 sisters; MaryEllen (Jeff) and Jill (Ken) Rodgers, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents Bob and Ellen, brothers Tom and Mike and grandson Makswell, and 3 seasons worth of hobby bees.

The love Pat had for his family was immeasurable and he will be deeply missed.

We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at ThedaCare that cared for Pat along with the hospice nurses that made him comfortable at home and showed compassion in this difficult time.

We would also like to say thank you to our neighbors and friends for all the support, generosity and love given during this difficult time.

The memorial service for Pat will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute.  A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
