Patricia M. (Brumm) Geenen

Patricia M Geenen, 79 , passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022.  Pat was born on October 26, 1943 to Joseph and Vivian (Stoffel) Brumm.  She was the best Mom, she never said “no.”  Pat liked to play cards and slots.  Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was her greatest joy.  She also helped her son with his fireworks stand every summer and always enjoyed being outside. 

Pat is survived by her children; Dan “Abes” (Barb) Abel, Debbie (Steven) Reiter, Dede (special friend Neil Rentmeester) Kater, grandchildren; Adam (Kortney) VandenBogart, Danielle (Caleb) Linskens, Daisha Abel, Dakota Abel, Craig (Carley) Reiter, Heather (Shane) Hayes, Colton Kater, Mitchell Kater, Brad (Jenny) Vandenberg, Michelle (Zach) Biese, Karissa (Cody) Johnson, great grandchildren; Braylie VandenBogart, Kallen VandenBogart, Brynn VandenBogart, Willow Linskens, Owen Vandenberg, Maddy Vandenberg, Stella Biese, Lucas Biese, Laney Johnson, Huxley Reiter, and Keston Hayes, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Darlene Swinkles, Joann (Mick) Vandenberg, Pat (Patty) Geenen, Rose Beyer, Baptist Stevens, and Mike (Karen) Geenen.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald Geenen Jr, brothers; William (Liz) Brumm, Robert (Carol) Brumm, sister-in law, Judy Stevens and a brother-in-law Lyle Swinkles. 

A memorial service for Pat will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00a.m. at the Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, N3972 Columbia Ave., Freedom.  A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.  The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Theda Care Regional Medical Center, Appleton.
