A Beautiful Angel Got Her Wings

Patricia (Patti) Allenberg, December 4, 2021, at St. Paul’s Elder Services, passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends.

She was born March 3, 1930, in Chilton, WI , the son of late Arthur & Loretta (Koehler) Voigt. She was the oldest of 3 siblings. Catherine (Katie) (Roger Mueller), Arlis (Liz) (Lyle Krizenesky).

On November 26, 1952 she married Robert (Bob) Allenberg, Sarver PA.  They met while both were serving in the US Army, Korean War.  She graduated from Chilton High School in 1948. She served in the U.S. Army - Corporal in the Women’s Army Corp 1948 - 1952.

Patti held many jobs over her years. In 1965 Patti & Bob became owners of Patti & Bob’s Little Chicago/Patti & Bob’s Pit Stop, Kaukauna, WI until 1975.  In 1975 she became the first Female Car Salesman in Wisconsin at Town & Country Ford, Kaukauna, WI.  In 1981 she went back into the bar business, Saddle Inn, Dundas, WI, (currently Rocky and Tara’s Nut Haus).

Patti was always an entrepreneur selling anything from clothing to turkey manure!!!  She had a spark like no other!

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Traci & Tim Snodgrass of Bonduel, WI.; sister Arlis (Liz) Krizenesky TX, nieces & nephews - Cary (Amy) Mueller WI, Karla (Elliot) Saltzman, TX, Tonya Krizenesky, TX, niece & nephew-In-Laws - Ron (Joyce) Callen, PA, Cindy Allenberg, VA , Charlie (Johanna) Allenberg, VA, and Donna McCullogh PA.

Patti was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2005, sister, Catherine (Katie Voigt) Mueller, brother & sister-In-Laws, Roger Mueller, Lyle Krizenesky, Glen Allenberg, Clifford & Alice Allenberg, Geraldine (Allenberg) & Leonard Callen. 

A Celebration of Life Will Be Held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Rocky and Tara’s Nut Haus, Dundas, WI from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., with military honors at 2:00 p.m.  Please bring your favorite memory of Patti to Share!

A Very Special Thanks to the fantastic Team at St Paul’s Elder Services!!!  Patti was LOVED every day she was a resident at St. Paul Elder Service and she LOVED all of them in return!
