Pamela Ann (Hietpas) Grinbergs, age 70, of Green Bay, WI passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
Pam was deeply rooted by her family and faith in God. Pam loved her family dearly and was always there when needed no matter the circumstances. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and growing flowers. Always looking for a good rhubarb recipe and loved food or drink caramel flavored! Her real passion was taking care of others until their final days. Her most pride and joy were her two children. She was so proud of both of them!
Pam was born and raised in Little Chute, WI. Pam spent several years after high school as a nanny in Illinois for the Blackwell family who she remained close to for the entirety of her life. Pam then established roots in Waukegan, IL for about 10 years working in the business world where she met her husband Juris, the love of her life. Shortly after they were married, they had a daughter, Kay Ellen (named after Pam's little sister that passed shortly after birth). While Kay was very young, they relocated to Pennsylvania for Juris' work. While they were in Pennsylvania, they had their second child - a son, Jonathan Juris George. Shortly after the birth of Jonathan, their family returned to Little Chute, WI to be closer to family. A few years later, they established a home in Freedom, WI where they lived for 10+ years. Once back in the Fox Valley, Pam helped grow the Little Chute Recreational Soccer program and spent many years doing elder care (some being close family members). With the passing of her husband Juris, in 2018, Pam chose to relocate to the Green Bay area in 2021 to be close to both of her children.
Pam is survived by her loving children, Jonathan Grinbergs (Olivia) and Kay Grinbergs. She is also survived by brothers and sisters: Keith (Kelly) Hietpas, Menomonee Falls; Kurt Hietpas, Chilton; Patti (Art) Dworak, Green Bay; Brenda Van Asten (Todd Simoens), Freedom; and sisters-in-law: Nancy Hietpas, Kaukauna; Vicki Prochnow, Post Lake; and Barb Hietpas, Kaukauna. Also, her extended family: Sarah Blackwell Palmer (Pete), Fayetteville, GA; Bill Blackwell (Heather), Utah; Doug Blackwell (Karri), Ft. Wayne, IN; and Tricia Blackwell. Appleton. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other friends and relatives.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Juris; as well as her parents: Bill and Yvonne Hietpas; sister, Kay Hietpas; and brothers: Rick Hietpas, Rod Hietpas, Bill Hietpas and Tim Hietpas.
Pam's presence was always known wherever she went. Her unique personality along with her contagious laughter, always having fun, and her joy of life will always be remembered.
