Nancy M. (Lefeber) Kroiss

Nancy M. Kroiss, 75, unexpectedly passed away on January 23, 2024 at her home.  Nancy was born on September 17, 1948 to Albert and Esther (Loose) Lefeber.  She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Kroiss, on October 16, 1971.  Dick lovingly called her “Tiny”, but she was anything but tiny, besides her physical stature. She had a huge heart and genuine kindness!  They enjoyed going on motorcycle rides and would make special trips just to get ice cream.  Nancy loved the companionship of her pets and rescued several dogs over the years.  You never had to ask her twice if she wanted to play cards!  She also enjoyed crafting, going to Goodwill and thrift stores where she would upscale her finds.  Nancy was a creature of habit and loved her routines which allowed her neighbors to keep a special eye on her. 

Nancy is survived by her brothers; Gary (Anne) Lefeber, and Mike (LouAnn) Lefeber, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Dick, parents Albert and Esther Lefeber, in-laws Frank Sr. and Mary Kroiss, sister Diane Schroeder, nephew Roy Schroeder, sister-in-law Susan Frahm, and brother-in-law “Mac” Kroiss. 

The funeral for Nancy will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Ave. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
