Mike Victor Van Daalwyk, age 67, passed away surrounded by his children on May 3, 2021. He was born on June 21, 1953, son of Jacob and Cecilia (Butler) Van Daalwyk.
Mike owned and operated Badger Ave. Gas and Van’s Sunset Video for many years. He was a jack of all trades and could do just about anything. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved trips to Las Vegas. Mike loved his family and cherished time with his precious grandchildren, he loved each of them tremendously.
Mike is survived by his children: Chad Van Daalwyk (The 10th Frame), Sarah (Travis Arneson) Davis and Brian (Ashley) Van Daalwyk; grandchildren: Anthony, Sam, Isabella, Jacob, Layla, RJ and Lyric; his mother, Cecilia Van Daalwyk; siblings: Kathy (Mike) Voster, Pat, John (Nancy), Mary and Bill (Kelly) Van Daalwyk; numerous other family members and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Van Daalwyk; brother, Dave Van Daalwyk and a niece, Jacki.
A visitation will be held for Mike on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home LITTLE CHUTE LOCATION, 101 Canal Street, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will continue after the visitation at the 10th Frame Sports Bar, 618 W.
