Michael S. Pettit

Michael S. Pettit, age 35, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on September 28, 1986, son of Craig and Karen (Lipke) Pettit. He married Nicole Edwards on March 30, 2016.

Mike was employed at Miron Construction and was a member of the local 955 carpenters union. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes. Mike enjoyed his side-gig of grinding stumps. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Mike was a great dad. His children and stepchildren were his pride and joy.

Mike is survived by his wife, Nicole Pettit; children: Kinleigh, Braelyn and Gavin; step children: Izac and Miranda; step-grandson, Wesley; parents: Craig and Karen Pettit; sister, Kristina (Sam) Reany; nephew, George; grandparents: John and Nancy Embs and John and Ruth Pettit; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ron Edwards; grandparents: LaVerne and Verona Lipke; and an uncle, Todd Pettit.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home KAUKAUNA LOCATION, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive. The Pettit family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the medical personal that took care of Mike, and also to the team that assisted with the organ donation. Mike was able to donate several organs and save the lives of four people.
