Mary Louise Williamson, age 83, of Little Chute, was called home to heaven on Monday, April 29th. She was born on January 11th, 1941, daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Beyer) Aerts. On August 17th, 1963, Mary Lou married Richard Williamson at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute and they enjoyed 55 years together.
Mary Lou enjoyed a variety of activities and interests, from golfing, bowling, fishing and gambling to knitting, reading, and watching sports. Her greatest joy came from being with her children and grandchildren. She participated in numerous ladies' golf leagues and had two hole-in-ones on the same par 3 at Mid-Vallee Golf Course, in one summer. Her passion for knitting extended beyond personal enjoyment; she often fulfilled requests, crafting items such as booties for the church and Christmas stockings and other items for family and friends.
Mary Lou is survived by her children: Linda (special friend, Barry DeWall) Williamson, Dan (Doreen) Williamson, Jill (Nedd) Schommer and Paul (Sara) Williamson; grandchildren: Emilie (fiance, Dave Van Asten), Grant (fiance, Kendall Giese), Madelyn and Tyler Williamson, Sam (special friend, Caitlin Diener) and Max(Rebecca) Schommer; many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents, Harold and Maggie Aerts; father and mother-in-law, Sylvan and Mary Williamson; and several inlaws.
The funeral liturgy for Mary Lou will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass at church. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
