Mary L. Kostka age 77, of Little Chute, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was born April 11, 1943 in New London, WI. Daughter of the late William and Doris (Eberhard) Reuter. Mary graduated from Seymour High School in 1961 and was united in marriage to Gerard “Jardy” Kostka on July 29, 1967.
Mary was an avid reader and baker. She enjoyed helping others and doting on her grandchildren. Mary is survived by her husband “Jardy” of 53 years; a daughter, Lisa (Mark) Standish of Janesville; a son Brian (Karyn) Kostka of Stratford; a son, Paul Kostka of Little Chute; three grandchildren; Kayla (Cole) Markowski, Tyler (Becky) Standish and Lucas Standish. She is further survived by a sister, Barbara (Roger) Helms and in-laws, Bonnie Hartjes, Marianne Schmidt, Florence Kostka, and Janet Ertl and numerous nieces, nephews and fabulous friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents William and Doris Reuter, mother and father-in-law, Paul and Harriet Kostka, brothers-in-law, Gary Kostka, Dan (Beth) Kostka, Don Kostka, Bob Wildenberg, Bob Schmidt, Tom Ertl and Gerald “Spec” Hartjes; sisters-in-law, Suzanne Russ, Millie (Paul) Gaily.
Funeral services for Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 Pine St., Little Chute with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating.
