Mary B. Denzel

Mary B. Denzel, age 94, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Mary was born on June 1, 1926 in Askeaton daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Sheahan) Wall. She married Ronald Denzel on June 16, 1951. They were married for 54 years before he preceded her in death on July 2, 2006. Many will remember Mary as a clerk at Looks Drug store for a number of years. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3319 in Kaukauna. 

Mary is survived by her daughters, Linda (Jeff) Hietpas and Nancy Van Schyndel; her grandchildren, Corey (Jenn) Hietpas, Carrie (Greg) Smith and Leah (Adam) Daelke. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Tyler and Cole Hietpas, Ashley Smith and Lauren and Addi Daelke; a brother, Jerry (Donna) Wall; a sister, Rose (Joe) Gilsdorf; a sister-in-law, Marie Wall and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; siblings, James (JoAnn) Wall, Kathleen (Florian) Pfeffer, Eugene (Evelyn) Wall and Charles Wall.

The funeral mass for Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish - St. Mary’s Church, 119 W. 7th St., Kaukauna. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Masks will be required and social distancing practiced. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
