Marjorie A. Disbrow, 94, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Marjorie was born on December 19, 1929 to Manley and Florence (Reed) Carpenter in Corinth, Vermont. On August 23, 1950 she was united in marriage to Frank Disbrow in Orange, CT. Marjorie enjoyed taking care of her home with Frank and spending time with their daughters and was very proud of her grandchildren Sarah and Brian. She liked knitting, sewing, quilting, Japanese Bunka, ceramics and painting. Majorie was a member of the Orange Congregational Church, and the Orange Homemakers. She also volunteered her time at the Milford Hospital and Orange Nursing Home in Connecticut.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 73 years, Frank, a daughter Nancy (Bob) Freimuth, grandchildren; Sarah (Brad) Yocum, and Brian Freimuth, sister-in-law & friend Edna Carpenter, nieces and nephews and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah; parents, siblings; Robert (Joan) Carpenter, Lawrence (Laura) Carpenter, and Curtis Carpenter, half siblings; Melvin (Delilah) Carpenter, Norma Carpenter, Eveleyn (Keneth) Dike, brothers-in-law, Charles Disbrow and sister-in-law Lilian Pitcher.
