Margaret "Peggy" (DeLeeuw) Witt

On Friday, April 8, Margaret (Peggy) Witt, age 74, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family. She was married to the love of her life, Chuck Witt. Her family was her pride and joy.

Peggy has a beautiful soul. She was an avid reader, loved to play cards and have campfires with family at their cottage. Peggy sewed hundreds of dresses for an orphanage in Haiti. Her smile, laughter, and dance moves will be dearly missed!

Survivors include husband, Chuck, children Traci (Mark) Steinbach, Joanie (Tim) Hartjes, Jenny (Jimmy) Charles, Amanda (Jeff) Mohr. Grandchildren Adam (Louis), Austin, Sydney Steinbach, Danielle (Rudy) Botz, Brooke, Jesse, Karly Hartjes, Brielle, Olivia, Jaxon Charles, Alayna, Makenzie Mohr. Great grandsons Laken and Rory Botz. Siblings Barbara (Bob) Schmidt, Louie (Vicki) DeLeeuw, Jeff (Larisa) DeLeeuw, Terrie (Bill) Klingman, Nancy Bates, Lucy DeLeeuw, Amy (Mark) Smallwood. In-laws Ron (Myrna) Witt, Sherry Bain, Jim Witt.

Peggy was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Lois DeLeeuw, brother Bobby, in-laws Lloyd Helen Witt, Bernard Rose Van Eperen.

The funeral service for Peggy will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, N3505 State Road 47 Appleton.  A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.  For online condolences please visit www.verkuilenfh.com
