Margie (Margaret) Herzfeldt, age 67, of Little Chute, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Margie was born on December 3, 1958, to Arnold and Kathleen (Crain) Tennie and grew up on a farm in Sugar Bush. She enjoyed life on the farm with her siblings playing in the haymow, ice skating, and playing games in the yard. Margie was a 1977 graduate of New London High School. On May 15, 1982, she married her high school sweetheart, Glen Herzfeldt. Margie worked until she had her twins and then stayed home with them for seven years, home babysitting. After their three kids were in school, Margie went to Fox Valley Technical School to educate herself on all the computer programs that came out during her time home with the kids. After school, she worked various places. Her main love for life was her family. She enjoyed camping and spending time at the land, UTV-ing, boating, fishing, going to sporting events, piano recitals, dance, etc. When the three kids grew up, she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her six grandchildren doing crafts, swimming, going to parks, and just loving them. She always treasured spending the family week in Eagle River starting when her kids were little and later on with grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, walking/hiking, and vacationing with Glen, where they attended many NASCAR races which then went into sightseeing the area.

Margie is survived by her husband, Glen; children: Eric (Raechyl) Herzfeldt, Scott (Melissa) Herzfeldt, and Amy (Mitchell) Burton; her 6 precious grandchildren: Parker, Zoey, Lilly, Carter, Ava, and Jace; one brother, Dave (Sue) Tennie; and 6 sisters: Jane (John) McConnell, Ann (Jim) Klatt, Mary (Glenn) Van Handel, Barb (Ron) Steffanus, Kathy (Joe) Diedrich, and Connie (Dick) McClone; 21 nieces and nephews and 34 great nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-law, Dave (Bev) Herzfeldt; and her aunt, Suzie Crain.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents and her in-laws: Laverne and Marcella Herzfeldt.

Visitation for Margie will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna.
