Lynn M. (Weyenberg) Hooyman

Lynn passed away surrounded by family on April 20, 2025. Lynn was born on May 28, 1950 to Eugene and Germaine (Hinkens) Weyenberg.

Lynn touched so many lives with her generous and selfless nature.  She was brave, resilient and even stubborn as she responded to her recent diagnosis with gratitude for the opportunity to say goodbye to loved ones and die in her own home. Lynn had a special and endearing sassy spirit and if she ever told you to "eat rubber and die" that likely was a sign that she loved you.  She will always be remembered for the "84 bunches" of love she showered those around her with endlessly. We love you 84 bunches times infinity and will miss you dearly!

Lynn is survived by her daughter Trudy Hooyman, Sons: Troy (Crystal) Hooyman, Tim Hooyman(Heather Molgaard), Travis Hooyman, Grandchildren; Brittany, Cassey, Anthony, Ashley, Tate, Adler, Payton and Easton, Great grand-children: Elaina, Kaiya, Amara, and siblings: Kathy Pemble, Chris (Pete) Prast, Mary (Rick) Reetz, Mark (Barb) Weyenberg, and Paul Weyenberg as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Hurst, and her former husband Roger Hooyman.

The memorial service for Lynn will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute.
