Lynn M. Geiger

Lynn Marie (Wichman) Geiger, 66, of New London (formerly of Freedom), WI, passed away on November 11, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Lynn was born May 16, 1957 in Freedom, WI to Jerome and Margaret Wichman.

Lynn was a kind and compassionate woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Lynn attended Freedom High School and had many fond memories of her time living and growing up in Freedom. Lynn had a fulfilling career, working at Pensar Corp., Ziggy’s and Skunk Hill Bars as well as Good Shepherd and Anna John Nursing Home as a CNA. She dedicated herself to providing care and support to those in need, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the individuals she served. Lynn had a deep love for her family and cherished her relationships with them all. Her grandchildren were her world!

She is survived by her beloved mother, Margaret Wichman of Black Creek; sister, Susie (Doug) VanDerHeyden of Freedom; her sons: Dean (Becky) Geiger of Seymour and Ryan (Jennifer) Geiger of New London. Lynn was a proud grandmother to: Grace, John, Ethan, Ella, Noah, Josh, and Adam. She is further survived by her former husband, John Geiger. She also had a special bond with her best friend, Vicki Vanderloop, along with nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lynn will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She is now at peace with her father, Jerome, and sister, Laurie, who preceded her in death.

A prayer service for Lynn will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, N3972 Columbia Ave., Freedom, WI.
