Lyle Uecker

Lyle D. Uecker, 54, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021.  Lyle was born on March 12, 1967 to Lloyd and Lyla (Schmiling) Uecker.  On September 25, 1993 he was united in marriage to his soul mate, Lisa Van Vreede.  He was an avid bicyclist and a professional bike fitter.  Lyle loved camping, kayaking, listening to music.  Lyle was a loyal and dedicated employee at Pierce Manufacturing for the last 19 years. He was a cancer survivor and supported many other people in their cancer journey.  Most of all Lyle loved his family and he was always there at anything the kids or grandkids were doing or needed.  

Lyle is survived by his wife and love of his life Lisa Uecker, three children; Kelly (Todd) Goodman, Christy (Reese) Dorsey, Kyle (Carmen) Van Schyndel, grandchildren; Micah, Callaway, Piper, Sawyer Grace Goodman, Grey Dorsey, Kennison, Calihan and Baby Van Schyndel, his parents Lloyd and Lyla Uecker, brothers; Larry (Dawn) Uecker and Lydell (Emily) Uecker, his brothers from another mother; Steve Pratt and Bob (Becky) Boehlen, nieces, nephews, other relatives, co-workers, friends, his beloved dog Maya and the countless lives that he has touched.  

The funeral service for Lyle will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the VERKUILEN VAN DEURZEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna.  A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.  For online condolences and virtual visitation options please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.  The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and ER staff at Theda Care Appleton for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
