Lois V. Gonnering

Little Chute – Lois V. Gonnering, age 72, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 16, 2021 at her home. She was born on April 26, 1948, daughter of the late Jonn Leland and Viola (Wierschke) Tetzlaff.

 Lois had a zest for life. She loved spending time and playing cards, dice and dominos with her family and close friend, Rosalee. In her quiet time, she enjoyed reading. She was a loving mother of four, grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of five. She was very loved and will be missed dearly.

Lois is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: Michelle (Gordon) Roffers and their children: Jordan [Genevieve and Joselin], John, Jennings and Julian; Michael (Kay) Gonnering and their children: Brandy (Carl), Bradley (Lacie) [Kaylee and Braylynn], Brittany [Owen], Brianna (Tyler); Mark (Jennifer) Gonnering and their children: Cade, Connor and Carter; Melanie Schnell and her children: Somara and Sienna; former husband Michael Gonnering; siblings: Elaine (Paul) Krueger, John (Barb) Tetzlaff, Alan (Sue) Tetzlaff, Audrey (Cliff) Greenslade, Gary (Karen) Tetzlaff and Glenn Tetzlaff; in-laws: Lloyd Beyer and Lynda Tetzlaff; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, John “Leland” and Viola Tetzlaff; siblings: Karen (Lloyd) Beyer, Darrell (Linda) Tetzlaff and Duane Tetzlaff.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 19, 2021, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home Little Chute Location, 101 Canal Street. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
