LeRoy James Beck

LeRoy J. Beck, age 81, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on August 8, 2024. He was born on June 11, 1943, son of the late Harold and Minnie Beck. LeRoy married Barbara Main on October 14, 1957, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna.

LeRoy was a dedicated employee of Miller Electric for 52 years. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time up north. Most of all, LeRoy loved his family. He cherished their many family vacations and any time he could spend with his grandchildren.

LeRoy is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barb Beck; his two boys of whom he was most proud: Scott (Roberta) Beck and Mark (Cathy) Beck; stepdaughter, Karijo (John) Marsh; grandchildren: Granthem (Amanda) Beck and Taitum Beck; step-grandchildren: Waylon Wolfe and Amanda Wolfe; siblings: David (Betty) Beck, Mary Jane (Bradley) Miller, Judy Hurlburt and Jackie (Brian) Borchardt; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joanne Beck, Marylee Bachhuber and Robert (Sue) Main; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Minnie Beck; brothers: Harold and Donald Beck; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Main; brothers and sisters-in-law: John Hurlburt, Alphonse Bachhuber and Alyce (Ronald) Viaene.

Memorial services for LeRoy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
