Kyle Anthony Ashauer, born June 7, 1992, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Tony and Kelly Ashauer, passed away on April 28, 2026 due to complications from a car accident. Kyle was surrounded by his loving parents and sisters, Samantha, Lauren, and Rachel, in the days leading up to his passing.

Kyle graduated from the Kaukauna Catholic School System before attending Xavier High School, where he graduated in 2010. He then continued his education at University of Wisconsin–Madison, earning both his Bachelor’s degree in Business and his Master’s degree in Accountancy. Following graduation, Kyle moved to Milwaukee, where he worked as a CPA at Ernst & Young and Deloitte. After moving to San Diego last July, he continued his career at Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg, LLP.

Kyle wasn’t big into playing sports himself, but he loved following and often being disappointed by his favorite teams: the Brewers, Packers, Badgers, Bucks, and Everton Blues. He loved spending summers at the family cottage, and moving to San Diego was always a dream of his.

Kyle is survived by his parents, Tony and Kelly; his sisters, Samantha, Lauren, and Rachel; his grandparents, Bob and Marilyn Munes and Ione Ashauer; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins: Mark and Kay Ashauer, Miranda and Max; Ann and Bill Heilman, Jon and Rebecca; Jenny and Randy Roers, Madison and Alex; and Lynn Munes. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Ashauer, and his uncle, Rob Munes.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors who cared for Kyle during his time in the ICU at Sharp Memorial Hospital.
