Kyle A. Ahola, 47, Kimberly, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 18, 2021.
He was born September 3, 1973 at Torrejon AFB, Spain, a son of Byron and Marta (Sheveland) Ahola. Kyle was a 1992 graduate of Ontonagon Area High School and went on to attend Gogebic Community College for Architecture/CAD and NWTC for Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design. Kyle worked at Jones Sign in DePere as the Director of Project Development and Installation.
Kyle aka “Tower of Power” was a loving, devoted husband, stepfather, son, brother, and friend to many. Kyle was close with his family, loved spending time with his loved ones, building/designing projects both at work and at home, fishing, hunting, music, sci-fi movies, working outside, and was well known for his love of Starbucks and his keen fashion sense (Slick the Dr. of Style, as they called him) – not the least of which-- those shoes! He was a mentor and teacher, had a goofy/playful personality, and made us all laugh (and sometimes shake our heads – which he always considered a “win” that brought him joy!) Kyle was a fantastic, brilliant man and will be missed by many. He will be remembered and loved forever.
Kyle leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Traci Ahola, his step-daughter, Callie Lewis (special friend Matt Brouillard), step-son, Alexander Aschenbrener, his parents, Byron and Marta Ahola, his sister, Kirsten Ahola, his brother, Kayle (Jennifer) Ahola and his niece, Anneli Ahola. He is further survived by other close family and friends.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents.
