Kurt Nackers Obituary

Kurt L. Nackers, 39, from Seymour, WI, originally from Kaukauna, was born December 30, 1982 to John L. Nackers and Sandra S. (Sprangers) Nackers. Kurt found peace on November 28, 2022 at his home in Seymour WI.

Kurt’s lifelong dream was to farm. Not having a farm of his own, every year he helped farming friends with planting and harvesting. Kurt was a great handyman for everybody to have around. He could fix just about anything. He fixed everything from county snowplows to farmers poop spreaders to kids toys.

Kurt never had trouble making friends and was a very social man. His kind and welcoming personality made it easy to love him. Everywhere he went someone knew him. Kurt was his happiest outdoors. He had a large camping group (including his sister) that he enjoyed relaxing with. He also snowmobiled, fished, and rode ATV. Sometimes he did a little skeet shooting. Kurt would help everyone and anybody, just out of the kindness of his heart. He was always busy. He had the biggest heart of gold anyone could ever have.

Kurt was proud to be on the Town of Oneida Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was also the Treasurer for the department. He helped with their annual tractor pull. Kurt went on to school and became a certified EMT/EMR. He loved to help people. He was also certified in Ice/Water Rescue. Kurt had his CDL's, his Hazemat, along with pumper truck operator license. Kurt also loved snow. He plowed snow for malls, small businesses and private homes for many years. Kurt also worked for the church to get ready every year for the church picnic, with all that and more Kurt still made time to help his family. He also was a blood donor for the Red Cross. Sometimes we wondered if he ever slept. Kurt was a dedicated employee for almost 20 years with Trudell Trailer Sales as a Parts and Service Sales Representative. He loved his job, and was loved by his co-workers and customers from all around the state.

Loved ones left behind are his daughter, Rebecca, who he adored; his mother Sandra S. Nackers; twin brother Kyle Nackers; sister Cassandra Sherman and her two daughters Taylor and Kailey. He also leaves behind his best friend Samuel (dog). Kurt is further survived by his grandmother, Mary E. Sprangers, who he loved to help. Kurt enjoyed plowing snow for her and she loved it when he would come in the house and shoot the breeze after. Kurt had a lot of aunts and uncles, cousins and many many friends. Kurt is preceded in death by his father, John L. Nackers; grandfather Leonard A. Sprangers; his grandmother and grandfather Albert and Eileen Nackers and cousins: Travis Vandenberg and Michael Vander Heiden.
