Kevin C. Murray

Kevin C. Murray, age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his residence. His passing leaves a deep and sudden emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him. Kevin was born in Appleton on July 31, 1986 to Alex and Katey (Dalke) Murray.

A graduate of Little Chute High School, Kevin lived life appreciating the simple joys that brought him peace and happiness. In his early years, he loved spending time outdoors - camping, fishing, and hunting were among his favorite ways to connect with nature. At home, he enjoyed video games and working on computers, always curious and hands-on.

Cooking was one of the ways he showed love, especially during holidays, where his side dishes became a familiar and welcome part of family gatherings. Above all else, Kevin cherished his family. He shared a close bond with his cousins and held a special place in his heart for his cousin’s child, little Theo, who brought him great joy.

Kevin is survived by his mother and step-father, Katey and Bill Landgraf; sister, Sheena Murray; aunt, Maureen (David) Haessley; and cousins: Anthony (Courtney) Haessley, Amanda (William) Russum and little Theo Russum. He is also survived by his “adopted” sisters, Angi (Greg) Sweere and Brianna Warning. He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Murray; grandparents: Kenneth and Dorothy Dalke, Alexander and Emily Murray; aunt, Melissa Dalke; uncle, Art Murray; and godfather, Scott Micolichek along with many other beloved relatives. 

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Verkuilen Van Duerzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will take place on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
