Kenneth "Ken" R. Bodde

Ken Bodde, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 8, 2024. He was born on February 25, 1959 in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Robert and Rita (Pitsch) Bodde. Ken met Patricia Van Stiphoutand the two were wed on June 6th, 1992 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kaukauna, WI.

Ken was employed at Appleton Supply as a machine operator for many years and later ended his working career as a truck driver. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. Ken also cherished being an uncle to his many nieces and nephews. 

Ken is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn Bodde, granddaughter Raiyn and grandson Eli. Also survived by his Step-daughter Kelly Van Stiphout , her son Trevor (Bethany Voekler) their children Penelope and  Olivander

Siblings: Gene Bodde, Barb (Gary) Seegers, Gloria (Dave) Faccio, and (Kim) Tony Bodde. Ken is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Patricia; his sister, Karen Bodde and sister-in-law Kim.

 A Celebration of Life for Ken will be held from 4:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M. on Sunday,  August  25, 2024  at the Freedom VFW on HWY 55, FREEDOM WI. Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, Little Chute has been entrusted with assisting the family.

 Ken’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and ICU staff at ThedaCare in Appleton for their care and compassion they provided.
