Karen Spierings Obituary

Appleton – Karen E. Spierings, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She was born on November 19, 1947, in Appleton, daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Behling) Spierings.

Karen was employed at Zwickers and Jansport. She always looked forward to her weekends with the Valley Dolls. Karen had the best Halloween and Christmas parties, which were her favorite holidays.

Karen is survived by her siblings: Elaine Grissman, Nancy (Hank) Kokke, Eileen (Bob) Van Camp and Mike (June) Spierings; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Feucht and a brother-in-law, Gary Grissman.

Due to Covid-19, a celebration of her life will take place in the spring. Interment will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
