Jules Joosten Obituary

At the tender age of 3, Jules chose us as her forever family.  We have been greatly blessed with her beautiful smile and loving heart.  All who met her remember her as a person whose smile would light up a room.  She was best friends to everyone and was always down for fun.

Jules was good at whatever she did.  Children recognized her gentle soul and followed her everywhere, which, we are sure, led her to pursue a career as a teacher.  Jules loved to hang out with friends, binge watch Netflix shows and cruise around in her car.  She loved her sports, not for the actual sport, but because she loved being with people and being a part of a team.

Jules’ positive attitude and generosity continually reminded us to live with gratitude for the time we have.  Even though our time with her was cut short, our lives are richer for having had her in it. Words cannot express how grateful we are to have been chosen to be her family.  With all our love, we will try to honor our Jules in all we do.

Thank you to all who have loved Jules throughout her life and after her passing.

Jules is survived by her parents, Brian and Patty Joosten; a sister, McKenna Joosten; a brother, Patrick Joosten; grandma, Virginia Joosten; many treasured aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Jules was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mark and Pat Vandeyacht and Warren Joosten; uncles: Jim Vandeyacht, Dan Vandeyacht and Jim Connelly; and an aunt, Barb Vandeyacht.
