Joyce A. (Eck) Van Grinsven

Joyce Ann Van Grinsven passed away peacefully at the age of 93, at home with family by her side on May 21,2022.
Joyce was born Nov 8, 1928 to Joseph and Katherine Bouressa.  
Joyce's primary occupation was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker which her children loved and are forever grateful.  She was united in marriage to Lawrence (Pug) Van Grinsven on Jan. 15, 1949.  
They loved their cottage life in Townsend. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and gathering with family and friends.  Now they are reunited in heaven.
Joyce is survived by seven sons: Ted (Kathy), Phil (Helen), Tom, Jerry (Sue), Bob (Sharon), Dick (Barb), Dan (Kim) and one daughter: Nancy Evers (Dave), 27 Grandchildren, 52 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 sister-in-laws: Donna Bouressa, Rita Van Grinsven.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence (Pug) Van Grinsven, and daughter-in-law Rebekah Van Grinsven, 2 brothers: Donald Bouressa (Joyce), Joseph Bouressa, Sister: Laverne Kaufman (Bob) and Pug's brothers, sisters, and their spouses.
Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly.  Friends and family are invited to gather at Church from 9:00am until time of service.
